The Village Advocate - Website Design
Lauren, founder of the Village Advocate, is a crucial resource for parents in the Westford/Littleton/Central MA area. She is a certified pediatric sleep & development consultant. She is also a perinatal mental health coach. She also offers in-services to businesses and groups in the area. Over the past few months, I’ve been working with her and designing her website as she prepares to fully launch her business.
Lauren already has a logo and a color palette, which are personal to her journey both in her personal and professional life. We both agreed keeping those things was important to telling her story. She also came to me with photos of flowers that had a deep meaning to her and she felt should be part of her brand. Her color palette is bright and energetic and I wanted her brand visuals to match that, while being welcoming and empathetic. Since Lauren works with many clients who have experienced loss in their parenting journey or who may have experienced trauma or grief, I kept this as a main consideration while I designed her website.
Below are custom brand illustrations that I created from the photos of flowers. The arches are for the “Services” section of the Home page and are designed to hold heading/brief description text.
Icons designed for each core value are shown below as well as icons designed for display next to “Our Mission” and “Our Vision” statements:
